Pine Prairie Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Vina Guillory Fontenot, 86, Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 10am in St. Peters Catholic Church in Pine Prairie. Burial will follow in the Fontenot Cemetery. Fr. Richard Broussard will officiate the services.

Mrs. Fontenot, a resident of Pine Prairie, died Thursday, September 13, 2007 in Eunice Manor Nursing Home.

Survivors include one son, George Wilber Fontenot of Deridder; four daughters, Priscilla Ann Rempel of Metairie, Elsie Rebokus of Clearwater, Fl., Diana Brady of Pine Prairie, and Bonnita Hollis of Winnsboro; four brothers, A.J. Guillory of Pine Prairie, Dalbis Guillory of Ville Platte; J.R. Guillory of Pine Prairie, and Efton Guillory of Ville Platte; three sisters, Emily Charlie of Ville Platte, Effie Ardoin of Port Barre, and Lou Anna Guillory of Carencro; seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Wilber Fontenot; a son, Rene A. Fontenot; and a daughter, Geneive M. Fontenot.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 14, 2007 from 4pm-9pm and on Saturday from 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7pm Friday.
