Turkey Creek It is with immense sadness that the family of Tesla Fontenot Laborde, 52, announces her passing from this world to join her Savior in Heaven. A Funeral of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM. The service will take place at the Turkey Creek Church of Christ with burial to follow in the Turkey Creek Cemetery, Rev. Jamie Roberts will officiate.

A loving wife, mother, daughter and sister, Tesla leaves behind her beloved husband of twenty eight years, Dave J. Laborde, Jr. of Turkey Creek and treasured memories will forever remain in the heart of their only son, Evan Laborde of Bayou Chicot. Also left behind to mourn: her parents, Dillard and Doris Messer Fontenot of Turkey Creek and her two brothers, Michael K. Fontenot, also of Turkey Creek and Eugene Mark Fontenot and his wife, Sherry of Thibodeaux.

At the request of the Laborde family, visitation will take place at the Turkey Creek Church of Christ beginning at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, November 18, 2014 and will continue until 9:00 PM that evening and will resume at 9:00 AM Wednesday morning and continue until the time of the service.
