VILLE PLATTE – Funeral Services will be held at a 1:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Ville Platte on Monday, February 10, 2020, for Sandra Faye Brasseaux, 64, who passed away on February 7, 2020 in Ville Platte, LA surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Father Mitch Guidry, pastor of Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the mass and conduct funeral services.
Entombment will take place at Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
Sandra Faye Brasseaux was born in Ville Platte, LA on August 21, 1955 to Johnnie and Lomie LeBleu Saucier. Sandra was a kind, patient, and loving mother and grandmother. She loved selflessly and was always putting people before herself. She was an amazing grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, music, playing Bingo and going to the Casino. She fought her illness with great strength and courage. Sandra was loved and adored by so many and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her two daughters, Amanda Foret and husband Stacey of Ville Platte and Rhonda LeJeune and husband Chris of Ville Platte; two grandchildren, Madison Foret and Evan Foret; sister, Amrella Dupre of Phoenix, AZ; brother, Don Saucier of Lans Meg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Lomie LeBleu Saucier; her husband, Larry Brasseaux; and two sisters, Alice King and Gertrude Vidrine.
The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte on Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM. A rosary will be recited by Father Blake Dubroc on Sunday at 7:30 PM. Visitation will resume on Monday, February 10, 2020 from 8:00 AM until time of service.
