Ville Platte - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Sable Deshotel Jeanmard at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Father Richard Vidrine will officiate the service. A rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. Inturment will follow at Evangeline Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Jeanmard, age 85, a resident of Ville Platte, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Heritage Manor of Ville Platte surrounded by family and friends.

Visitation will start at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Ardoin Funeral Home of Ville Platte.

A loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, Sable will be greatly missed by her two sons: William "Bill" and wife Emily, David and his wife Becky. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her three grandchildren Jennifer Cherie Sands and husband Lee, Jules D. Jeanmard, II and his wife Heidi and Nancy Clair Jeanmard and one step-granddaughter, Victoria and husband David Lanza; great-grandchildren: Aleksei and Ava. Her sister Eva Jorden and husband Ted, brother-in-law Dalbis Red Fontenot and many nieces and nephews that she loved so much.

She now rest with her husband, William Babo and her parents, William and Emma Deshotel; sisters, Jocelyn Fontenot, Mable Fontenot and Grace Fontenot.

Her family would like to thank the staff at Dr. Tommy Fontenot's, Louisian Hospice, Heritage Manor, Mercy Regional Medical Center, Father Richard Vidrine and many others for her care.
