VILLE PLATTEIt is with great sadness that the family of Ronald J. Vidrine, 65, announces his passing on Monday, August 6, 2012 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM, Thursday August 9, 2012 at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in The Gates of Heaven Cemetery with Fr. Joshua Guillory as Celebrant.
Ronnie was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved gardening, but most importantly he was a loving husband, son, father, brother and grandfather. Ronnie leaves behind his devoted wife of forty five years, Linda Soileau Vidrine of Ville Platte loving mother, Ruby R. Vidrine of Ville Platte beloved daughter, Lori Vidrine Guillory and husband, Rhett of Lafayette two brothers James Jimmy Vidrine and wife Glenda, and Judge John Larry Vidrine and wife Melanie, all of Ville Platte, two grandchildren Ryan Hunner Guillory and Camille Elise Guillory, both of Lafayette, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He now joins in Heaven his beloved father, Loris J. Vidrine.
At the request of the family, visitation will take place at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and again on Thursday, August 9, 2012 from 8:00 AM until time of service. A Rosary will be prayed in his honor Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM.
