VILLE PLATTE- It is great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Robert Wayne Deville, Sr., 62, announces his passing on Sunday, March 29, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady Queen of all Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Burial will follow in the Eternal Rest Cemetery with Father Mitchell Guidry as celebrant.

A loving father, brother, grandfather and friend, Robert will be greatly missed by his two sons, Robert Wayne Deville, Jr. and wife Melissa of Vidrine and Johnny O. Deville and wife Liz of Lake Charles; two daughters, Joanna Deville and fiancé Terry Gene Soileau of Ville Platte and Allison Rene Fontenot and husband Jade of Ville Platte; brother, Gerald Deville of Ville Platte and sister Shirley Andrus of Pine Prairie. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his eight grandchildren: Ashley Blanchard, Summer Fontenot, Hunter Fontenot, Anna and Zachery Deville, Angelle Deville, Nicholas Deville, Kenneth Deville and his four great grandchildren: Brayden Blanchard, Landon Blanchard, Alexis Blanchard, and Waylon Blanchard.

Robert will now reunite in heaven with his wife, Effie Deville, parents, Olin Deville and Relice Fontenot, sister, Geraldine Deville and brothers, Rayford Deville and Roland McDaniel.

At the request of the Deville family, a visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 3 PM until time of services on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited in Mr. Deville's honor on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 6 PM.
