VILLE PLATTEMemorial Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Ardoins Funeral Home of Ville Platte for Mr. Robert Lee Ardoin. Rite of Committal will be conducted at a later date.

Mr. Ardoin was born on January 22, 1954 in Ville Platte and passed away at his residence on May 8, 2012. Mr. Ardoin spent his entire life in the Ville Platte area. He retired from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development. Robert was a very loving husband, father, brother and soninlaw. He loved to work in his garden and then canning and preserving the fruits of that labor he enjoyed going fishing, cooking and spending time with family and watching the children playing and having fun. Mr. Robert is going to be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Robert is survived by his wife, Sharon Ardoin of Ville Platte, son, Kyle Ardoin of Lake Charles, daughter, Kim Ardoin of Lafayette, brother, Phillip Ardoin and companion, Mona Vidrine of Ville Platte and motherinlaw, Maxie Granny Martin.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Verna Barker Ardoin.

Visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home of Ville Platte, Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
