VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Rebecca Lynn Manuel, 49, announces her passing on Monday, January 30, 2012 at her residence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Peters Cemetery in Pine Prairie. Fr. Mitchell Guidry will be Celebrant for the services.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Rebecca leaves behind her husband of thirty one years, Kenneth Manuel of Pine Prairie and her beloved children: Joshua Manuel, Matthew Manuel, Ashley Manuel and Jamie Harrington and her husband, Dustin, all of whom reside in Pine Prairie. She is also survived by the light of her life, her granddaughter Madison Harrington. Her memory will most certainly be cherished by her siblings: Leonard Guillory and his wife, Geneva of Atlanta, Georgia, Kenneth Guillory and his wife, Stephanie, of Pine Prairie, Debbie Guillory and her husband, Terrell, of Pine Prairie, Eva Ardoin and her husband, Craig, of Pine Prairie, Donna Jackson and her husband, Keith, also of Pine Prairie. She also leaves behind a host of other family and friends whose lives she touched with her great love of life.
She now joins in Heaven her dear parents, Leonard and Anna Mae Guillory. They await her arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte beginning at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 1, 2012 until 10:00 PM that evening and will continue Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 8:00 AM and will continue until time of the services. A Rosary will be recited in her honor Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 6:30 PM.
