VILLE PLATTE It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of Pierre Tiny Fontenot, 59, announces his passing he left this world to join his Savior in Heaven, Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at his home in Ville Platte. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Friday, October 31, 2014 at Mount Carmel Catholic Church of Chataignier. Rite of Committal will immediately follow in the Mount Carmel Cemetery with Fr. Darren Eldrige as Celebrant.

A loving brother and uncle, Tiny will be deeply mourned by his devoted siblings: Doward and Connie Fontenot of Chataignier, Stanley and Gloria Fontenot of Reddell, Steven Bob and Janelle Fontenot of Point Blue, Rodrick and Brenda Richard of Evangeline, Brenda Faye and Benny Fontenot of Ville Platte, Loretta and Charles Prejean of Carencro, Anna and Darryl Veillon of Ville Platte, Linda and Gerald Chapman of Pine Prairie, JoAnn and Johnny Carroll of Hornbeck and Irene and Ed Armand of Ville Platte. Joyful memories and sweet stories will be treasured and passed on by his numerous nieces and nephews.

He will now rest in Heaven along side his dear parents: Rudolph Fontenot and Lou Elda LeBleu Fontenot Richard and his stepfather, Rogers Richard and a sister, Mary Joyce Johnson. They surely await his arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.

At the request of the Fontenot family, visitation will be held Ardoins Funeral Home of Ville Platte beginning at 3:00 PM Thursday, October 30, 2014 and will continue until the time of the service on Friday. A Rosary will be recited in his name at 6:30 PM Thursday evening.
