ELTON It is with great sadness that the family of Phyllis Faye Robinson, 51, announces her passing on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at her residence in Elton. A Funeral of Christian Burial will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel of Ville Platte at 12:00 PM Saturday, January 5, 2013. Burial will follow the service in the St. Andrew Cemetery in Plaisance with Fr. Gene Tremie officiating.
A loving wife, mother, daughter and grandmother, Phyllis leaves behind her devoted husband of twenty one years, Gary Robinson. She will be sadly missed by her two children: Ronnie Guillory and his wife, Aleshia of Kinder and Jada Semien of Elton. Also mourning her loss are her parents, Felton and Gloria Richard of Mamou, two halfbrothers, Ted Veillon and Kenneth Veillon and one halfsister, Christine Veillon. Her memory will most certainly be cherished by her twelve grandchildren they were truly the light of her life.
She will now reunite in Heaven with her brother, Scott David Veillon he awaits her arrival with open arms and a joyous heart.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home of Ville Platte beginning at 5:00 PM Friday, January 4, 2013 and continuing until 10:00 PM that evening and will resume at 8:00 AM Saturday morning until the time of the service
