VILLE PLATTE Funeral Services for Mayus Brown, 79, will be held Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 12:30 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the M. B. Fontenot Cemetery in Ville Platte.

Mr. Brown, resident of Ville Platte died Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Ville Platte Medical Center.

Survivors include: his wife, Eva M. Brown of Ville Platte, three sons Tony Brown and wife Gayle of Ville Platte, Larry Brown and wife Jana of Ville Platte, and David Brown and wife Angie of Church Point, one daughter, Winna Smith of Ville Platte, one brother Eull Brown of Ville Platte, nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Sosthane and Loris Brown.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 13, 2008 from 2pm until time of service. A rosary will be recited Friday at 6pm.
