Malena’s greatest passion was the love she had for her family.  Spending time with her loved ones whether it was camping, cooking, or watching sporting events brought Malena much joy.  This joy was magnified with the addition of her grandsons.  They were her shining light and the focus of her energy and affection.

Not only was Malena a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, but she was also a devoted friend.  Malena was a loyal and loving friend.  She cherished her friends as well as the times they spent together.

Family and friends held a special place in Malena’s heart, but that does not complete her love.  One of Malena’s greatest loves was her love for animals.  She truly adored her fur babies.  Malena’s family and friends will miss her dearly but rejoice in knowing she is celebrated in heaven.

She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Lauteral Manuel; three children, Brandon Manuel and wife, Abbie, Taylor Manuel and fiancé, Shyanne Mayer, and Victoria Manuel and significant other, Davon Vallier; two grandsons who knew her as “Gi Gi”, Bryson Vallier and Brantley Manuel; father, Harold Saucier and step-mother, Brenda Saucier; mother, Lee Anna Noel and step-father, Jay Randall Noel; brother, Donnie Saucier and wife, Michelle; two sisters, Angie Lejeune and husband, Kenny and Kristi Guidry and husband, Jerry; step-brother, Michael Miller and wife, Tracy; six step-sisters; Renee Brown and husband, Kevin, Amy Dufrene and husband, Kevin, Alison Miller and partner, Jennifer Ackerman; Emily Erwin and husband, Hugh, Sheila Houser and husband, Fred, and Tammy Derouselle and husband, Peter; and two godsons, Donovan Saucier and Darren Guidry.

Malena is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Martin and Zetta Saucier and maternal, grandparents, Simon and Murdie Guillory.
