BUNKIE It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that the family of Lisa Marie Telthorst, 36, announces her passing on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center of Lafayette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Chapel of the Resurrection in Whiteville Rite of Committal will follow in the Chapels Cemetery. Father Mike Guidry will act as Celebrant for the services.
A devoted mother, daughter, sister and aunt, Lisa leaves behind her precious children: a son, Jordan Christopher Johnson and a daughter, Jasmine Marie Johnson, both of whom live in Bunkie. Her mother, Patricia Brown Thompson of Bunkie, will forever mourn the loss of her daughter. Lisas only sister, Laura Audrey Mackles and her husband, Garrett of Paulina, will be sure to pass on their treasured memories of her to their children: Brandon and Dakota Mackels.
Lisa will now join her father, Richard Telhorst, in Heaven he most surely awaits her arrival with a joyous heart and out searched arms.
At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home of Ville Platte beginning at 8:00 AM Saturday, December 21, 2013 and will continue until the time of the service at 1:00 PM.
