VILLE PLATTEIt is with great sorrow that the family of Larry Wayne White, 64, announces his passing on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte. A Memorial Service will be held in his honor at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte. Pastor

A loving father, grandfather and brother, Larry leaves behind his four children: Larry Scott White and his wife, Lisa, of Turkey Creek, Jeremy Wayne White and his wife, Angela, of Bayou Chicot, Shannon White Evans and her husband, John, of Grayson and Erica White Glasgow and her husband, Roy, of Cankton. Also left behind to mourn his passing are his four sisters: Freddie Jean White Keene and her husband, Harold, of West Monroe, Georgia White Hodges and her husband, Wilbur, of Interprise, Carlyle White Poole and her husband, Terry, of Swartz and Sherry White Miller and her husband, Clyde, of West Monroe. His memory will most certainly be cherished by his eleven grandchildren: Jonathan White, Dusty Berger, Brennen White, Dylan White, Brooklyn White, Lyndsey Evans, McKinleigh Evans, Brianna Janes, Tyler Guillory, Hannah Glasgow and Hailey Glasgow they were truly the light of his life.
Larry served his country with great pride and honor during the Vietnam War as a soldier in the United States Army. He was devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Ville Platte but his true passion in life was his beloved family, especially spending time with his grandchildren.
At the request of the family, visitation will take place at Ardoins Funeral Home of Ville Platte from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
