Funeral Services for Larry Bryant Ledoux Jr. will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Bayou Chicot United Methodist Church officiated by Pastor Ross Ford followed by interment at Ferguson Cemetery. Bryant Ledoux 48, of Lafayette passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023, at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. He was born on May 29, 1974, in Opelousas to Larry Ledoux Sr and Audrey Crane Ledoux. Bryant was a kind, compassionate, loyal, honest, dependable loving soul who was extraordinarily musically gifted whether it was playing, composing or singing. He was also a very talented painter who painted many beautiful oil paintings. Bryant adored his family and time spending time.  with them. He graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where earned his Bachelor’s Degree of Music. Recently Bryant passed his Louisiana Licensed Realtor Exam and was excited to start his new endeavor.

Survivors include his parents, Larry and Audrey Ledoux; sister, Toni Ortego (Shawn); brother, Joshua Ledoux (Brandi); his fur babies, Kingsley and Isabella; nieces and nephews, Curry Ledoux, Jasmine Ortego, Angel Ortego, Justin Ortego, Josephine Ledoux, Ruby Ledoux and Serenity Dubroc; great-nieces, Ella Winstead and Sophia Ledoux; close friend, Eddie Savoie; and numerous family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arthur C. Crane and Refugio “Cookie” Crane; paternal grandparents, LB Ledoux and Mackie Ardoin; and great-nephew Liam Cain Ledoux.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 PM on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Bayou Chicot United Methodist Church and will resume at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Bayou Chicot United Methodist Church.

Serving as Pallbearers are Dustin Aguillard, Dale Gauthier, Curry Ledoux, Shawn Ortego, Vorice “Anthion’ Castille, Steve “Uncle Bull” Johnson, Joshua Ledoux, Kevin Harnsberry and Walt Parrish (Honorary Pallbearer).
