VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Kenneth Ray Webb, Sr., 71, announces his passing on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1: 00 PM Monday, October 15, 2012 at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church of Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow at the Sacred Heart Mausoleum with Fr. Mitchell Guidry officiating.
A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, Kenneth leaves behind his devoted wife of fifty years, Sarah Poret Webb of Ville Platte and his three children: Marlene Marty Webb Manuel and her husband, Steve of Ville Platte, Karen Webb Dunagan of Ville Platte and Kenneth R. Webb, Jr. and his fianc, Melanie Cary, also of Ville Platte. His memory will most certainly be cherished by his ten grandchildren: Natalie Brignac, Dustin LaFleur, Nicholas Dunagan, Jordan Dunagan, Stefan Dunagan, Ethan Dunagan, Rachel Dupre, Kenneth R. Webb, III, Joshua Webb and Tyler Webb he also leaves behind eight great grandchildren. They were truly the light of his life. He will be mourned by his four siblings: James Sonny Webb of Michigan, Edward Eddie Webb of Texas, Mary Loius Kennedy and June Vidrine both of Louisiana.
Kenneth served his country with great pride as a soldier in the United States Army he was also honored to have further served as a member of the Presidential Honor Guard.
He will now join in Heaven his parents: James and Ethel Kennedy Webb. They await his arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the family visitation will take place at Ardoins Funeral Home of Ville Platte beginning at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 14, 2012 until 9:00 PM and will continue Monday, October 15, 2012 from 8:00 AM until the time of the service. A Rosary will be recited in his honor at 7:00 PM Sunday evening.
