PINE PRAIRIE It is with great sadness that the family of Kade Matthew Guillory, announces his passing on Tuesday, May 22, 2012. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Peters Catholic Church of Pine Prairie on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Rite of Committal will follow at the St. Peters Cemetery in Pine Prairie with Fr. Richard Broussard acting as Celebrant.
Kade, an outstanding 17 year old, was a member of Senior BETA, the Science and Math Club and FBLA. He was also an honor student who played one year of football. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He was always the first person to lend a helping hand when anyone needed, whether it was mucking stalls or crawling under a house to install water lines. He also enjoyed taking care of his animals and mechanicing his toys, including golf carts, ATVs, truck and Jeep, especially with his dad. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He left this world with his best friend, Kyle D. Landry at his side. Kade was in the confirmation class of St. Peters Catholic Church and received the sacrament of Confirmation on May 15, at St. Peters Catholic Church, sponsored by his Godfather, Kirk Dupre.
A loving son, grandson, brother and friend, Kade will be missed by his parents, Robin and Angie Guillory of Pine Prairie, one brother Derek Guillory, two sisters, Lainey Broussard and husband Johnny of Cankton, and Malerie Guillory of Pine Prairie, Paternal grandmother, Hazel Guillory of Pine Prairie, Maternal grandparents, Meris and Patsy Dupre of Grand Prairie, also by several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. His memory will most certainly be cherished.
Kade now rest in Heaven with his paternal grandfather, Flarence Guillory. He will enter into eternity with his dear friend, Kyle David Landry, at his side.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at St. Peters Catholic Church of Pine Prairie beginning at 5:00 PM Thursday, May 24, 2012 until 10:00 PM. They will reopen at 9:00 AM on Friday May 25, 2012 until time of services. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 7:00 PM.
