VILLE PLATTE- It is great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Joseph Herbert Perrodin, Jr., age 91, announces his passing on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at his residence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 11 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery with Father Tom Voorhies as celebrant and Father Richard Vidrine as co-celebrant.
A loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, Joseph will be greatly missed by his wife of 67 years, Enola Fontenot Perrodin of Ville Platte, sons, Ebby Perrodin and wife Lorraine of Ville Platte, Tim Perrodin and wife Lisa of Opelousas and daughter, Anne Perrodin Winkler and husband David of Baton Rouge. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Joseph will now reunite in Heaven with his parents, Joseph H. and Lolite Perrodin, sons, Paul David Perrodin and Malcolm John Perrodin, brother, Hart Perrodin and sisters, Grace Perrodin Blake, Jean Perrodin Alexander and Ruby Ann Perrodin.
At the request of the Perrodin family, a visitation will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte from 10 AM until 9 PM and will reopen on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 8 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed in Mr. Perrodin's honor Friday evening at 6:30.
All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte.
