VILLE PLATTE- Gladys Faye Marks passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Mercy Regional Medical Center at the age of 83.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Friendship Baptist Church in Pine Prairie at 2 PM. Burial will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Jacob Vollem and Reverend Ervin Goodman officiating services.

Visitation will also be held at Friendship Baptist Church in Pine Prairie on Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 2 PM until 10 PM and will reopen Friday morning at 10 AM until time of services.

Gladys loved to spend her time fishing anywhere she could, especially at Indian Creek.

Gladys leaves behind her loving husband of 25 years, Ralph Marks, sons, Gordon Rials and wife Sue of Pine Prairie, Danny Rials and wife Gwen of Pine Prairie, daughter, Sherry Kordish and husband Larry of Pine Prairie and brother, Johnny Nuggent and wife Margie of Pine Prairie. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

She is proceeded in death by her brother, Albert Nuggent and sisters, Ruby Price and Dorothy Yielding.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte, Louisiana.
