VILLE PLATTEIt is with great sadness that the family of Essie DeVille Vidrine, 87, announces her passing on Monday, June 25, 2012 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 12:00 PM Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Ville Platte with Fr. Garrett McIntyre officiating.
A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Essie leaves behind her three children: Bobby Vidrine, Theresa Fontenot and Connie Lafleur and her husband, Jimmy, all of Ville Platte. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her five grandchildren: Warren LaFleur, Jodie Noel, Casey Runner, Jarred Vidrine and Keegan Vidrine. She is also survived by four great grandchildren: Kaden Runner, Brynne Essie Runner, Jamen Runner and Brayden Vidrine they were the light of her life.
She will now join in Heaven her beloved husband, Lawrence Vidrine and her parents, Orise and Eunice DeVille. They await her arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home of Ville Platte beginning at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 27, 2012 and continuing until 10:00 PM that evening. Visitation will resume Wednesday morning at 8:00 AM and continue until time of the service. A Rosary will be recited in her memory Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM.
