VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Eric Philip Landreneau, Jr., 39, announces his passing on December 13, 2013. Phil, as he was known to his countless friends, was at his home when he left this world to meet his Savior in the next. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church of Ville Platte with Rite of Committal to follow in The Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery in Ville Platte with Father Mitchell Guidry as Celebrant.
Philip was a devoted son, brother, nephew and cousin he leaves behind his loving parents: Eric and Paula Foxworth Landreneau, Sr. of Ville Platte. He will be deeply mourned by his only sibling, Elizabeth Alice Landreneau Vallot and her husband, Andrew of Kentwood. His memory will be carried on and cherished by his aunts, uncles and cousins.
Philip was a gentle soul with a compassionate heart he had a larger than life laugh and his sense of humor was a delight to all. His caring ways led him down a career path that was ideal for him he worked as a registered nurse with the L.H.C. Group.
He will now reunite in Heaven with his paternal grandparents, Joseph Otis and Clamie Fusilier Landreneau and his maternal grandparents, Ira Charles Foxworth, Sr. and Cecile Reed Foxworth. Their reunion will surely be a joyous occasion.
At the request of the Landreneau family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home of Ville beginning at 12:00 PM Tuesday, December 17, 2013 and continue on until 9:00 PM Tuesday evening but will resume at 7:00 AM Wednesday and continue on until the time of the services. A Rosary will be recited in his honor Tuesday evening at 6:30 PM.
