Ville Platte Funeral services for Mrs. Earline Fontenot, 88, will be held Monday, August 27, 2007 at 10:30am in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the MB Fontenot Cemetery.

Mrs. Fontenot, a resident of Ville Patte, died Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 10:45am in Ville Platte Medical Center following a short illness.

Survivors include, two sons, Gene Fontenot and wife, Ruth of Point Blue and J.D. Fontenot and wife, Pat of Ville Platte; two brothers, Dalbis Fontenot and Melvin Fontenot both of Ville Platte; four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Delta M. Fontenot and a sister, Betty Fontenot.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 26, 2007 from 10am until 9pm and on Monday, 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6pm Sunday.
