VILLE PLATTE- It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Cherrie Renee Kruszynsky Barber, age 49, announces her passing at her residence in Baton Rouge. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 2 PM in the Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel. A burial will follow in the M.B. Fontenot Cemetery with Pastor Kevin West officiating.
A loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Cherrie will greatly missed by her husband of 13 years, David Glen Barber of Walker, La., mother, Barbara Smith Kruszynsky of Ville Platte, sons, Joshua Paul LaFleur of Galiano, La., Jordan Casey LaFleur of Bayou Chicot, Brandon Mitchell DesHotel of Ville Platte, daughter, Ambrea Renee DesHotel of Walker, La., brothers, James Mitchell Kruszynsky and wife Genie of Denham Springs, Louis Anthony Soileau of Ville Platte and sister, Sheila Jean Richard and husband Wayne of Ville Platte. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her 2 grandchildren, Paisley LaFleur, Isabella DesHotel and her four-legged friend, April Renee Barber.
Cherrie will reunite in heaven with her father, Ronald Chester Kruszynsky and nephew, Justin Mitchell Kruszynsky. They will be awaiting her arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the Barber family, a visitation will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte at 11 AM until time of services on Saturday, June 20, 2015.
