VILLE PLATTE It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Barbara Gale Blake McCauley, 64, announces her passing on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at her residence. Barbaras life will be celebrated during a memorial service at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel of Ville Platte at 4:00 PM Friday, June 21, 2013 with Pastor Brian Dore officiating.
Barbara was a kind and loving woman and spending time with her beloved family and friends was her greatest joy. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister she leaves behind three children: one son, Casey McCauley of Pine Prairie and two daughters, Lynne Winders and her husband, Scott of New Berlin, IL and Chasity McCauley of Pine Prairie. Also left behind, her three siblings: Steve Blake of Wynne AR, Randall Blake also of Wynne AR and Melody Mitchell of Mountain Home, AR. Barbara was blessed with four grandchildren: Tony Hill, Tara Darnell, Alison and Rachel Winders they were, without a doubt, the absolute light of her life.
She will now join in Heaven, her husband Paul McCauley and her parents, Sam Blake, Jr. and Lena Davis Blake. Their reunion will most certainly be a joyous one.
At the request of the family, visitation will take place at Ardoins Funeral Home of Ville Platte beginning at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 20, 2013 and continue until 10:00 PM that evening and resume at 8:00 AM Friday morning and continue until the time of the service.
