VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Aubrey Joseph Prudhomme, 66, announces his passing on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Savoy Care Center in Mamou. A Graveside Funeral of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 15, 2013 in the Ortego Cemetery of Ville Platte, Deacon Gene LeBouef will officiate.
Aubrey leaves behind his beloved wife of forty nine years, Ella LaFleur Prudhomme of Ville Platte and their children: Shawn Prudhomme and his wife, Danica, of Ville Platte, Randy Prudhomme, also of Ville Platte and Kristy Prudhomme of New Jersey. He was blessed with one grandchild, Jaden Prudhomme, the light of his life and his greatest joy here on earth. Aubrey is also survived by three sisters: Diana Prudhomme of Mamou, Sherry Landreneau of Mamou and Patricia Fontenot of Reddell.
He will now reunite in Heaven with his parents: Herman and Dora Marcantel Prudhomme they await his arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
