PINE PRAIRIE - Funeral Services will be held at a 1:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial for Baby Asher Reid Garner, 6 months, at St. Peters Catholic Church in Pine Prairie on Saturday, September 09, 2017 who passed away on Wednesday, September 06, 2017 at Texas Children's Hospital of Houston surrounded by his loved ones.

Father Kenny Mayne Pastor at St. Peter's Catholic Church will be celebrating the mass and conducting the funeral services.

Burial will take place in St. Peter's Church Cemetery in Pine Prairie.

His memories will live on through his family. Baby Asher is survived by his parents, Cameron Alexander and Alexis Reed Garner; brother, Lawson Alexander Garner; paternal grandparents, Eugean and Delana Garner; maternal grandparents, Brian and Julie Reed; paternal great-grandparents, Willis "Bud" and Louise Garner and Lawrence and Betty Sampey; and maternal great-grandparents, Terry and Lynn Andrus and Teddy and Susanne Reed.

He is preceded in death by his paternal great-grandmother Jackie Sampey.

The family request that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM on Friday, September 8, 2017. Visitation will resume Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Pallbearers are Caleb Andrus and Gage Whatley. Honorary Pallbearer is Jackson Reed.
