VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Annie Tate Richard, 96, announces her passing on Friday, August 9, 2013 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 12, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Brian Dore officiating services.
A loving mother, grandmother, and sister, Annie will be fondly remembered by her sons L. D. Aucoin and wife Sybilene of Houston, Texas and Paul Bennitt Aucoin and wife Brenda of Pine Prairie, her daughter Twala Richard of Ville Platte, two brothers Leo Tate, Jr. of Ville Platte and Wallace Bad Tate of Ville Platte, and sister Winnie Nicks of Kilgore, Texas. Her memory will most certainly be cherished by her seven grandchildren and twelve greatgrandchildren.
Annie now rests with her husband Walter Richard and her granddaughter Yvette Aucoin.
At the request of the family visitation will be at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Sunday, August 11, 2013 from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday, August 12, 2013 from 8:00 AM until time of services.
Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.
