VILLE PLATTE- It is with great sadness that the family of Andrus J. Chapman, age 92, announces his passing on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte. Chapel Services will be held for Mr. Chapman on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 in the Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel at 11 AM. Visiting hours will be held that morning from 9 AM until time of services. Burial will follow in the M.B. Fontenot Cemetery with Father Matthew Bazarre as celebrant.

Mr. Chapman was Veteran of WWII, having served in the United States Army.

A loving father, grandfather and friend, Mr. Andrus will be greatly missed by his son, Charles Chapman and wife Dot of Ville Platte, 2 grandchildren, Dirk Chapman and Jacinda LaPrairie and husband Paul of Ville Platte, 6 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, 3 nieces, Anna Fontenot, Tina Dupre and Debbie Thibodeaux as well as several great nieces and nephews.

Mr. Chapman now rests with his wife, Lita F. Chapman and parents, Philmon and Edna Chapman.

Arrangements are entrusted to Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte, La.
