Phillip was my Daddy best friend, and I was just the little girl that tagged along everywhere. He was there at our crawfish boils, fishing trips, camping trips, etc he became more than my Dad's friend in this time. I grew up seeing him as an extra father figure. I am so sad I can't be there in his passing, and my deepest prayers go out to all of Phillip's family and friends. He will be missed, he was truly one of the best men in my life, and I know God is greeting him with open arms into his kingdom forever.

I’m so sorry to have seen this. Praying for the family. I was married to his cousin, James. I remember the many times we would go to St. Landry for a big family bbq. He always “pick on” me because I was from Boston. May he be at eternal peace & with his heavenly family.
