VILLE PLATTE-Funeral Services will be held at a 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte on Wednesday, December 05, 2018 for Sophia Guillory, 55, who passed away on Sunday, December 02, 2018 in Ville Platte, LA surrounded by her loved ones.

Father Mitch Guidry, pastor at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the Mass and conduct the funeral services.

Burial will take place in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery.

Sophia Guillory was born on June 14, 1963 to John "Bat" Guillory and Beverly Dean Lejeune Guillory. Sophie as most called her, was a hairdresser for many years. If you knew Sophie, you couldn't help but lover her. Many of her close friends and family would call her the Holly Beach and Crawfish Queen. She loved crabbing and eating crawfish. Her greatest love was the love she had for her family, friends, and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her grandchildren were her life. Sophie's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her mother, Beverly Guillory of Ville Platte; her significant other, Chad Ardoin; two sons, Jordy Kyle Veillon and wife Dana Dupre Veillon of Ville Platte and John Lindsey Veillon of Ville Platte; daughter, Chelsie Veillon Soileau and husband Michael Chad Soileau of Faubourg; three grandchildren, Carleigh Brooke Soileau, Ainsley Marie Soileau, Luke Charles Veillon, and one grandson on the way; and her sister, Phylis Stagg of Elton.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jon "Bat" Guillory and grand-daughter, Sydney Denae Soileau.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM Tuesday. Visitation will resume on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
