MAMOU – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou on Friday, November 2, 2018, for Richard Wayne Perron, 76, who passed away on October 29, 2018 in Mamou, LA.
Father Billy Massie, pastor of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the mass and will conduct funeral services.
Burial will take place in the New St. Ann’s cemetery in Mamou, LA.
Richard Wayne Perron was born in Mamou, LA on November 17, 1941 to Blaney Perron and Leanora Landreu Perron. He enjoyed dancing, eating out, fishing, and watching football.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine Pappillion Perron; son Timothy Nagles; sister, Joan Galin; brothers, Mickey Perron and wife Denise of Port Arthur, Tx.; two sister in laws, Lorinza Jolivewetta and husband Louis of La Port, Tx. and Priscilla Allen of Friendes, Tx., and one brother in law, Louis Fontenot of San Francisco, Ca..
He is preceded in death by his parents; Blaney Perron and Leanora Landreau Perron; and brother, Peter Perron.
The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Mamou on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM by Deacon Gary Gaudin. Visitation will resume on Friday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
