MAMOU-Funeral Services will be held at a 12:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou on Thursday, October 25, 2018, for John Wilbur Fuselier, Jr., 65, who passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018, in Mamou, LA.

Father Billy Massie, Pastor at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the mass and will conduct all funeral services.

Burial will take place in Fuselier Cemetery in Mamou.

John Wilbur Fuselier, Jr. was born on June 06, 1953 in Mamou, LA to John Wilbur Fuselier, Sr. and Clara Madge Benoit Fuselier. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Arceli C. Fuselier; four sisters, Janet Godeaux of Eunice, Wanda Yurowitz of New Mexico, Kim Fuselier of Missouri and Joanne Brinkman and husband Jon of Eunice; three nieces, Yona and Amy Yurowitz, and Kelly Brinkman; one nephew, Jonathon Brinkman; and 3 great nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Keith Fuselier.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM. A rosary will be recited by Deacon Gary Gaudin at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Pallbearers are Jon Brinkman, Jonathon Brinkman, Steve Thompson, Mayonce Franks, James Fontenot, and Stanley Granger.
