Kade was born in Opelousas, LA on February 17, 1988 to Danny Fontenot and Tammy Lafleur Kalb. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 15, 2018. Kade loved the Lord Jesus with all his heart and he longed to study his bible daily. He attended New Life Assembly of God in Ville Platte and when he lived in Lafayette he was a faithful member of Metro Life Church.

As a young man, Kade worked on the pipelines as a certified pipe x-ray technician. During his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, playing video games, and listening to music. He loved his family immensely and their memories with Kade will never be forgotten. His life brought everyone great joy and his legacy will be cherished in the hearts of his loved ones forever.

He is survived by his father, Danny Fontenot of Ville Platte; mother, Tammy Kalb of Lafayette; three brothers, Alex Fontenot, Dustin Kalb, and Dylan Kalb; aunts, Connie Hall and Annette Lodrigues; uncles, Justin Lafleur of Grand Prairie, Clint Lafleur of Grand Prairie, and Merril Fontenot of Grand Prairie; grandmothers, Ana Lee Saucier of Opelousas and Judy Lafleur of Grand Prairie; Nanny, Tressa Lafleur; and Parain, Burke Saucier of New Orleans.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Larris Fontenot, Yat Saucier, Don Lafleur, and Bobby Lodrigues; and Uncles, Randell Fontenot and Chris Ortego.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Burial will follow service.
