Marjorie Elaine Hebert
July 5, 1918 - July 29, 2012

IOTA~Marjorie Elaine Hebert’s children are saddened to announce the passing of their dear mother on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at the American Legion Hospital in Crowley. She was 94. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota. Rite of committal will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery with Father David Broussard Celebrant.

Marjorie ran a farm with her husband, Clyde Hebert, Sr. and enjoyed riding and raising horses. She was a Sacristan of St. Joseph Catholic Church for 20 years as well as a sitter for many years at the American Legion Hospital in Crowley and was a caregiver for the family and those in need but most of all she loved her family which includes her son, Clyde Hebert, Jr. and wife, Gail Sittig Hebert of Iota; a daughter, Patricia Hebert and husband, Michael of Iota; ten grandchildren, Mike, Lynn, Joey, and Terry Hebert, Jr, Barbara Johnson, Jennifer Hale, James Hebert, Shelly Hebert, Nikki Chauvin and Kristen Hanks; sixteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Clyde Hebert, Sr.; her parents, Benjamin and Mary Sims Cadenhead; son John “Terry” Hebert, Sr. and four sisters.

At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Iota on Tuesday, July 31st from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 9:00 am Tuesday morning.
