Cecelia "Dale" Landreneau
July 25, 1933 - March 8, 2010
MAMOU~A wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, Dale Landreneau will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Dale died peacefully on Monday at 9:40 pm March 8, 2010 at her residence. She was 77. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou. Burial will follow in the New St. Ann’s Cemetery in Mamou with Father Jude Thierry Celebrant.
She leaves behind a loving and grateful family, including her loving daughters, Diana Dale Landreneau Fontenot, and husband, Rovelia of Oakdale; Penny Landreneau Soileau and husband, Glynn of Mamou; one brother, Dr. Paul Glen Fuselier and wife, Cealy of Covington, La; one sister, Norma Jo Landreneau of Mamou; three grandchildren, Dr. Lance Fontenot, Dr Chuck Soileau, and Casey Soileau; two great- grandchildren Isabella and Sofia Fontenot.
Now she rests in heaven with her beloved husband, Milton “Tee Boy” Landreneau; her parents, Willie and Dina Fuselier, and a brother, John Fuselier.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from 5:00 pm until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm Wednesday evening.
