EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Shirley M. Fisher announces her passing on February 08, 2010 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice at the age of 65. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice on Tuesday, February 09, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Cedric Sonnier Celebrant.

Shirley, a resident of Eunice, was greatly involved in church and community work. For the past two years, she and her husband, David has been the proud owners of the restaurant, Jimbo’s.

She leaves behind a loving and grateful family including her husband of over forty-seven years, David Fisher of Eunice; daughter, Kristy Harrigill and husband, Patrick of Eunice; two brothers, Tanzy “Pete” Miller, Jr. of Slidell and Arthur L. Miller of Eunice; three grandchildren, Ryan Andrepont, Lauren Andrepont, and Haiden Harrigill; two step-grandchildren, Garrett Harrigill and Gracie Harrigill; as well as many friends. Shirley left those who knew her with warm memories to cheer us and fill our hearts. She will be truly missed.

Now she rests in Heaven with her beloved parents, Tanzy and Helen Bellow Miller, Sr.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, February 08, 2010 from 5:00 pm until time of services on Tuesday, February 09, 2010. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Monday evening by Deacon David Guillory.
