Ville Platte - It is with great sadness that the family of Dalbis Guillory, 84 annouces his passing on Friday, February 5, 2010 at Ville Platte Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday, February 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum with Fr. Clinton Sensat Celebrant.
A loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother, Dalbis will be lovingly remembered by his son, Todd Luke Guillory of Ville Platte; daughter, Evelyn Fontenot and husband, Buford of Ville Platte; five grandchildren, Luke Fontenot and wife, Liz, Nicole Coreil and husband, Chris, Daniel Fontenot and wife Penelope, Megan Guillory, and Alex Guillory; five great grandchildren, Blair, Zachary, Brandon, Jacob, and Rebecca; and six brothers and sisters, AJ Guillory, Renee Guillory, Jr., Efton Guillory, Effie Ardoin, Emily Charlie, and LouAnna Guillory.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Louella McDaniel Guillory; parents, Mr.& Mrs. Renee Guillory, and siblings, AnnaBell Deshotel, Thelma Deshotel, Vine Fontenot, and Beulah Ortego.
The family request that visiting hours be observed Sunday, February 7, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Monday, February 8, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
