It is now several years later. I wanted to share with his family that, though I never knew him, last spring I bought one of us bikes. If anyone happens to read this, his craftsmanship, talent, and eye for excellence lives on.

My heart is saddened having just learned that John passed. I knew John a long time and have pictures of us together as best buds in Mrs. Flos class. From our later days together I remember him as a gentleman and always kind to others. Even though after High school I didnt see him often, when I would he always had a big smile and a warm hug. I will always have fond memories and those pictures of him with me.
To Johns parents I think that you raised a wonderful son who respected and appreciated those around him. You are in my prayers.

We were lucky enought to get to spend Johns last day with him. Brennan and I worked at his shop with him all day, and then Andi joined us later that evening at Picantes for Lisas party. What a good time he had that night. Full of laughter and jokes...as he always was. We will miss him greatly. There will never be another like him. Our only comfort is in knowing that we will meet again.

I realize there are no words of comfort at this time. My heart absolutely breaks for you and your family.

Through the pain, the sadness, the crying, the fear, the anxiety, the loneliness and the yearning to hug him just once more, I will pray that God fills your heart with His grace, love and peace. The grace of God will carry you through this. And I know as humans, we are very selfish, we dont want to let go, the separation is so unbearable. But I somehow hope you can take comfort in knowing that John is in the Lords glorious Kingdom He is rejoicing now Serving our Lord with all the glory, power and honor...

Though I only knew him for less than a year, he smiled a special place in my heart. I was lucky enough to have John as my neighbor. There was never a time he didnt smile and wave or share a friendly conversation when time permitted. I was lucky enough to spend a couple hours with him this past Friday while he worked on my bike. He was a sweetheart and a great source of laughter. I will cherish the exchanges I had with him always.

My DEEPEST sympathies to his family and friends who will no doubt miss him with great sadness. May you find peace in the treasured memories and sharing of stories.

    Carencro, LA

Johnny and Lisa, you have our deepest sympathies during this difficult time. John was a great guy and very well liked. He will be missed by so many.

I read a story a while back of someone who had lost a friend involved in a motorcycle accident. He dreamed that his friend was in Heaven, riding motorcycles through the clouds. And each time he heard thunder, he would imagine his friend riding free in complete happiness. I can definitely see John, with those long legs, on a long, low chopper, looking as cool as ever, riding and enjoying Paradise...wings and all.

Although, we may never know why such a young, talented, wonderful person was taken so early in life, we will all remember him fondly and keep him in our hearts.

You both are in our hearts and prayers so that you may receive comfort to ease your pain.

    Sincerely,
    Sid and Missi Roger

If John saw you he would wave, smile, or walk over and say hello. He was the type of person who loved life and the people who lived it, very outgoing and joyful to be around. He made time to let you know he saw you. The talent is needed up above now and the beautiful art he left behind will be talked about for a long time to come. Along with other fallen BIKER buds I will remember all, every time the thunder rolls. May we all remember the smile and how he touched everyone he met. GOD BLESS
