Never met him, but really enjoyed him on "Swamp & Roll". Basile should be proud of this native son.

I watched the Swamp n Roll show last night and as much as I enjoyed it, it just wasn't the same without Dr. Feelgood! He really made the show alongside Todd Ortego. I felt sad when his son said at the end, "Behave your damn self"! That was one of my favorite's, the end of the show when Dr. Feelgood said it.
Please know that we are all deeply saddened on the passing of Dr. Feelfood and that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. GOD BLESS! Carol & family

My condolences to the entire Burge Family. Joe, you will be sadly missed by family, friends and Swamp and Roll Show listeners. The music was great and the way you told those commercials always made me laugh. The best were the slaughter house ones! RIP Doc, from a listener who never met you, but felt he knew you very well. My sincere condolences to Joe's family. I feel lucky to have had the chance to know him during my time in Ville Platte at the Gazette. He was such a fun person. I so loved his columns & he lit up the place when he'd stop in for a visit! He could always make me smile. God Bless him.
